Boiler Installation in Edinburgh City

We can arrange access with a tenant in Edinburgh City, but the instruction and the payment come from the landlord or agent so everyone knows where they stand.

The commissioning record, the building control notification, and the manufacturer warranty registration details. Keep them together, because a warranty claim later will ask for them.

Say so when booking. If someone else can let us into the Edinburgh City property, or a key can be left safely, the visit can still go ahead.

Sometimes. A modern boiler, especially a combi, can need a larger gas supply pipe than the old one. It is checked on the survey so it does not become a surprise on the day.

Yes. You get told what was found, what was done and anything worth keeping an eye on, in plain terms, before we leave the Edinburgh City property.

Yes, every modern condensing boiler has one. Where it runs matters, because an outside run can freeze in a cold snap, so it is planned to keep that risk down.

Yes, as long as you tell us who to expect. For a Edinburgh City property that is often the simplest way round a working day.

The number of radiators, how many hot taps and showers can run at once, and the incoming mains flow. We size from that rather than fitting the biggest unit available, because an oversized boiler cycles more and costs more to run.

Dust sheets go down where the work is, and the area is cleared up before we leave. It is your home, not a building site.

That the gas and electricity are on, the thermostat is calling for heat, the timer is set, and the boiler pressure is where the manual says it should be. It is surprising how often one of those is the answer.
