Central Heating Installation in Armadale

Scott Murphy, who runs Pilot Heating Solutions from Falkirk. Ask to see the Gas Safe card, in Armadale or anywhere else. A genuine engineer expects to be asked.

Yes, if it is in good condition and suits the new setup. If it is old or poorly insulated, replacing it at the same time is usually easier than doing it later.

Yes. Flats bring flue position and access constraints rather than different work, and those are worth flagging when you book.

Sizing the system for the property, running or replacing pipework, fitting radiators and controls, connecting to the boiler, then filling, balancing and testing it. In an occupied Armadale property it is planned in stages so the house stays liveable.

Plainly. What is not working, when it started, any noise or error code, and whether anything was done to it recently. That is more useful than technical vocabulary.

They earn their keep if the household is out at irregular times or wants different temperatures in different rooms. If the heating runs to a fixed pattern, a decent programmable thermostat does the same job for less.

Yes, and it is worth listing everything up front rather than adding jobs on the day, so the visit in Armadale is planned with enough time in it.

It depends on the size of the job and whether it is a replacement or a first-time installation. We tell you at the survey what to expect, so you can plan around it.

You get told before it goes ahead, not afterwards. If the price changes, you decide whether to proceed, and nothing is done on the assumption you would have said yes.

Yes. Winter is busier, which is exactly why the quieter months are the better time to book anything that is not urgent.
