Boiler Installation in Dunfermline

Yes. Older buildings across West Fife often have thick walls, long pipe runs and past alterations, and the job is planned around what is actually there.

Yes, every modern condensing boiler has one. Where it runs matters, because an outside run can freeze in a cold snap, so it is planned to keep that risk down.

Leave the property, do not use switches or naked flames, turn the gas off at the meter if it is safe to, and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Once they have made it safe, we can deal with the appliance.

The number of radiators, how many hot taps and showers can run at once, and the incoming mains flow. We size from that rather than fitting the biggest unit available, because an oversized boiler cycles more and costs more to run.

Dust sheets go down where the work is, and the area is cleared up before we leave. It is your home, not a building site.

If the existing system is full of sludge, yes, otherwise it ends up in the new heat exchanger. We check the state of the water before deciding, rather than adding it to every quote automatically.

Yes. A short call about what the system is doing often tells us whether it needs a visit at all, and what kind.

Water and heating are off while the swap happens, and there is a working area around the boiler. We keep it contained, clear up after, and hand over the controls before leaving.

Yes. Who installed it does not change how it is diagnosed or serviced, though any installation paperwork for the Dunfermline property is useful to see.

Not automatically. Existing radiators can usually stay if they are sound and sized right for the rooms. Anything that needs replacing is pointed out before the price is agreed.
